Ah. Memories.

God, that was a fun game. Golden Sun. It was involving, challenging (but not hard), and had an involving storyline. I can't believe that you got this so right. I'm not sure how good it is to someone who doesn't love Golden Sun, but to me its perfect.

Hm...

For a techno song, its fairly generic. It doesn't sound bad, that's why the rhythm you have is the base rhythm for just about all techno. Base, not bass. Yer bass is allowed to go a little farther than just the little buzzing ye get at max volume. bass isn't necessarily meant to be heard. Its meant to be felt. It adds depth to the music in a way that no fleeting treble sound can. You feel the change in rhythm and key with the bass. Its just too small a sound in this song. Usually talking in techno is an off beat "GO-GO-GO-GO-GO-GO" Not necessarily those words, but its integrated into the song to increase the intensity. This song is a basic techno beat. It would sound really cool with some overlay. Ye have a mid-range treble, ye need a bigger bass sound for a deep, powerful undertone and a high-range Treble for a solo overlay.

I'm impressed

Well, the first half is impressive. For garage band. Ye could make some incredible songs if ye had a powerful musical creator. But very impressive for garageband. Although, the alarm in the middle isn't my favorite part... Kinda throws it off.

Ah. Its like a remix to me.

Do i detect a hint of Metallica? Its a great song. It sounds a ton like the intro to "One" by Metallica, but only barely.

I think your imagining things lol. Thanks for the 10!

Great Job.

Intense. Its got the same basic beat of most techno in the undertones, but the overtones have their own rhythm, yet stay connected. Its like one big solo, yet it seems to repeat. Incredible.

Pretty good.

Although, the synth sounding deal is very disorienting in the second quarter of the song, it flows perfectly with the rest of the song. Intense, but not over the top. Overall its a great piece of work.

Spectacular

Yeah! I love it when ye make music into an emotion, rather than a sound. The pure honesty of the feel makes it well worth listening for years to come. Congratulations!

At last.

Ive finally returned from my silence! Just found this song you made, and again, its beautiful. I love how your art spins in a spiral, dancing from joy, to sorrow, to anger. I admire your mastery of sound and the emotions it invokes.

Ok.

Its an ok piece of work. I understand that its a demo for a remix, so im giving ye full points. IT just sounds a bit chunky. Try getting a band to play this instead of a comp (which I know is reallyfrigginhard!!!) But if ye do, it will sound a ton smoother in the transitions. Also, the band might be able to make it sound more like the song, without it being an exact copy with a little affects. Its not that hard to customize the song once ye can play it on piano, guitar, or bass. Then ye have the halo kinda feel and its still unique. Btw, the halo 3 theme is just perfect for a remix. Im working on a personal one on the piano right now.

Sorry

I know your using garage band. but you can at least use items in the same key. Or even the notes in the major or minor chord. Its ok, but simply using garage band isn't an excuse. It just isn't exceptional. You rate something based on how good it is. not how it was made. if its crap, then rate it low, cause others use that rating to decide to listen to it because of that. This is an ok song,. but mess with the decibel levels for the song so its not so chunky.
